About The Team
KEITH FARRELL // DIRECTOR
Director Keith Farrell has been nominated for an IFTA award four times, however, he has never taken home the prize. Granada Television in Manchester was where Keith started his career as a producer. He then established himself as a director of documentaries and docudramas, creating films and TV programmes for domestic and international broadcasters. His filmography includes the feature documentary films A Terrible Beauty, which took home the IFTA for outstanding cinematography in 2016, and Death or Liberty, which took home the Atlanta Film Festival’s spotlight documentary award in 2017. Keith’s first feature film is titled Wait For Me.
THEA BURROWS// PRODUCER
With twenty years of production expertise, Thea is a Cannes Lions Award-winning producer. She made many short films after managing a brand content creation company that was named one of Creative England’s Top 50 Screen Companies. Included in this were the BFI-funded films Mushy Peas to Green Tea Kulfi, which has screened internationally and at Raindance and Leeds International Festival, and The Rising of the Sap, which stars BAFTA winner Joanna Scanlan. During the UK’s Covid shutdown, Thea produced her debut feature, Wait for Me, before transitioning to developing and producing feature films and TV dramas.
BERNARD O’TOOLE // WRITER
Writing singles for different boy bands, Bernard started his career as a songwriter in the music business. He decided to leave the boy bands and pursue a career in screenwriting after his debut short film, Let it be me, finished as runner-up at the Big Issue Film Festival in 2002. He was awarded a BBC Writersroom Initiative in 2005, which led to the creation of the comedic drama pilot script Country Town. He received the Red Planet Prize in 2012. Additional commissions include feature films for Gas Music, Not a Number Productions, Rowbotstreet, and Silver Bullet, as well as a drama for LA Production.
MARGOT DOUGLAS // CO-PRODUCER
Lead producer of Old Hall Films is Margot. She has approximately ten years of expertise in the field and throughout that time has created award-winning short films, music videos, documentaries, and advertisements. Her first major motion picture is Wait For Me. In addition to producing the BFI Network Short SCRUM and the award-winning horror film The Third Hand from Yoni Weisberg, Margot has made it a priority to foster emerging talent and first-time directors. Margot was chosen for the BAFTA x BFI Network Crew programme last year. The 33rd Galway Film Fleadh saw the world premiere of Another Happy Ever After, her debut film for Old Hall Films. She is now working on her second feature picture, a UK/Irish/Canadian co-production titled The Last Command, as well as a premium television series with ZDF Studios.
